"Mandala", paint on canvas, 45x45 cm, 2020
Hanna Zelleke Collin
(*1987, Stockholm)
Â
Hannas abstract paintings could be seen as a reflection of her ongoing interest in algebra. – “The conceptual aspect on philosophy is similair to that of painting. Deleuze suggests that philosophy in our present time is the art of forming, inventing and fabricating concepts, but instead of concepts we are fabricating paintings, which is something in itself".
A single blue picture, hung in the Tiffanys-like white space, echoes the idea of a masterwork, however dramatically subtle.
Â
Hanna Zelleke Collin has been having an ongoing dialogue with playwright and writer Dimen Abdulla since 2012, resulting in an apartment exhibition and a bachelor's thesis on intuition.
Exhibitions include Bångska våningen, Stockholm, 2017.
