Ernst Skoog
(*1991, Kvidinge,
lives in Frankfurt)
As an artist, filmmaker, and organizer, Skoog spend long bouts of time centering in on making use of lowkey action and the aestethics of “behind-the-scenes” collaborations.
In the film “Rendezvous”, a mythical epoch has resurrected or perhaps it never ended, the cowboys has left their hibernating den and are heading to a remove place on the GPS where only coordinates work.
The stories of the old West manipulated and told by the epic film industry has inspired an alienated offspring 150 years later in a Swedish scenery. Here a group of freedom seekers are dressing up in cowboy boots and Stetson hats, collectively transforming their reality into a parallel world where they escape the everyday
